I Gorthi Srinivas a Sales Professional since last 28 years coming from a middle class family where I faced and came across lots of ups and downs in my life while in my journey seen many suffering in their life for short fall of their needs It happened in the year 2010 when one of the orphanage organizer approached me and asked to donate groceries and clothes for their kids and I visited personally to that orphanage and then donated few groceries and I felt that is not sufficient after seeing that then I shared my views to my friends classmates and decided to do something for these kids and we with small gathering of around 25 members went to the orphanage and offered lunch and dinner along with school books and fro there we slowly spread the message to others who are generous to help make in our group and we should celebrate festivals like Diwali. New Year children’s day Holi and other important festivals with the kids offering them the required essentials like groceries clothes school kits books etc and also done medical checkup for the kids frequently six months once and recently we had done complete medical checkup with MNR Hospital I am a regular blood donor since last thirty years where I had donated above 100 times as my group is rare A +ve When I was donating blood during a camp heard about the kids suffering with Thalassemia sickle disease where blood is required then I thought of organizing a blood donation camp and informed to my friends where they came forward to donate blood in this process some of my friends who want to donate are rejected due to high BP then I thought of having medical camps to be conducted to screen tests as most of the people neglect there health due to various reasons and I approached few hospitals and started organizing medical camps every three months once which I got good response even some of the corporate hospitals are friendly to me and they came forward to conduct tests after conducting if any further tests are required they would ask to come to their hospital where the further tests are done with discount rates I motivated my friends colleagues to donate blood and took their concern and formed a Blood donors list of around 200 members whoever asks we used to share the donors list Then I started a own NGO HELP FOUNDATION to do the social services inviting my friends while doing these activities we use to associate those who are doing social service for good cause I had mobilized around 2000 college students after convincing the college principals about drugs say no to drugs event and took pledge with kids at KBR park and In this process we joined with Life again foundation run by Ms Gautami actress who is running this ngo to spread about cancer awareness where I could motivate friends and others to join promote about cancer where to motivate and tell them that’s its not serious disease if diagnosed in early stage and technology is increasing day by day where it is curable never feel shy to take tests We have done different events like had walk with around 500 cancer survivor patients at necklace road and also had done candle light march at gachibowli stadium with celebrities and students I have been awarded and felicitated by well-known personalities for my social service which I am doing from some of the great personalities are Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamy and Sri J.D. Lakshminarayana ex CBI Joint director in the presence of Sri K.Rosaiah garu ex-Governor of Tamil Nadu I influenced my friend’s colleagues and also through social media got new friends who are generous to participate in social services made many new friends we did different activities like 5k run health awareness campaign Winners walk i.e cancer survivors with students’ celebrities and other eminent people Say no drug campaign with college students Tree plantations Distributed clothes food blankets for the needy during winter I have been actively been a social worker since last 20 years .I also cure the patients who are suffering with Juandice . My father used to give the medicine since last five decades which he learnt from his grandmother and he taught me as well I started healing patients since the last last two decades at BHEL . it’s a natural medicine neither allopathic nor Ayurveda . We cured many patients including TV 5 Chairman Sri B.R.Naidu and Image hospital Chairman Sri C.V.Rao Patients come to us from across the city and also from other states In the Pandemic situation HELP Foundation sis whatever we can in our best capacity to help the needy. The following are some of the social activities we were able to deliver the needy. April 10th to May 5th We a group of friends got together worked with AKshaya Patra to pack ration kits at Hitech city where we are able to pack nearly 4500 ration kits per day which was distributed by GHMC along with Police to the needy. May 8 th to July 15th we were informed by the research that the migrant labours are not receiving any ration food from govt near kollur Tellapur and surrounding areas of Mokilla as many high rise apartments construction work is going on So we started to pack ration kits by a group of friends and distributed to the needy in kollur and surrounding areas to nearly 600 families in that area Nearly 2400 ration kits where distributed to different people who are Surabhi stage artistes ,watch men’s ,ayyias, local construction labours ,private school labours priest , poor Brahmins ,cooks , small time hoteliers small temple staff free-lance journalists , Asst cameraman and lightmens of film industry Around 10000 migrants who are travelling from Hyderabad to the home towns in sramik trains we distributed biscuits favored milk snacks for a week We distributed food gor about 2000 for about 3 days to the migrants labours traveling back to their home towns cia pvt buses which were arranged by other NGOS We also distributed vegetables to the needy people near lingampally chandanangar and surrounding areas We used to get calls from different parts of the city requesting help as many of our friends who are also doing service in different areas we used to coordinate and give the food ration kits to the needy Most of the people who received kits are thankful for us where the ration kit consist of 5 kg rice 1 kg dal 1litre oil pkt salt pkt dal 1 kg tamarind 1 kg sambar mirchi and maslala powder pkts And still we are continuing doing regular activities like conducting free medical camps , blood donation camps etc Apart from this I am also a Character artiste acted in movies ,serials , short films and I can entertain anyone
