I’m an aspiring cardiologist working and learning in one of the best cardiology setups in the country. From childhood I have been driven my curiosity in biology, the admiration towards the medical profession for its gruelling but satisfying life, and the unique happiness of serving people. I pursued my MBBS and MD from Kolkata and got through NEET superspeciality entrance in 2019 to secure a coveted seat in Jayadeva hospital in Bangalore. This shift of place has brought me closer to a different culture, different people and a new language. This has helped me broaden my outlook towards the Indian society and made me prouder of the notion of India’s “unity and diversity”. Last 8 months we doctors , the nurse and other healthcare workers have worked more than ever and have suffered depression, abuse, relief as well as loss of near and dear ones. Yet, everyday we arrive at work to take care of the COVID afflicted patients with renewed enthusiasm to save one more life.
Extracurricular interests: playing piano and violin, classical Indian music, Tennis, Baking and Indian sweet making.
