Engg. Diptirekha Pattnaik is a resident of Bankual, Basuaghai Panchayat, Ekamra Constituency, Odisha. Since her childhood, she has thought that education and discipline could transform lives. She pursued her engineering studies before joining the IT industry, where she rose in her career to work as the Quality Assurance Lead at Hilo Maritime, London. During her time in the corporate world, she also gained a keen interest in the field of social work, which was inspired by the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita. The idea that one ought to contribute back to society was what made her start working on women's empowerment, child rights, and education.

To bring her vision to life, she started the DPS Kids Pre-Vedic School and founded the Ekta Trust: The Power of Unity. She used the same platforms to spread life skills, yoga, value-based learning, and community awareness programs. Her active political participation as the BJP Training Cell Coordinator and OBC Morcha Vice President enabled her to touch thousands of people, including 10,000 SHG women, by conducting training programs.
