Dr. Ghazia Nusrat Ara was born into a lower middle-class Muslim family where opportunities for girls’ education were limited. Her early education started through Urdu medium and madrasa studies while social traditions often discouraged girls from pursuing higher education. After completing her higher secondary education with excellent marks, Dr. Ghazia Nusrat Ara pursued her medical dreams despite immense family and social pressure. She first completed COPA and later continued her medical studies after marriage. Even while facing emotional trauma, financial instability, and domestic struggles, she refused to give up on education. Through scholarships and relentless hard work, she successfully completed her BUMS degree, establishing herself as a dedicated BUMS gynecologist in Darbhanga.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Ghazia Nusrat Ara continued serving patients despite severe financial and professional setbacks. She provided free treatment and medical assistance to many needy patients during the crisis, reflecting her humanity and commitment toward healthcare service. Her dedication during the pandemic strengthened her reputation as a compassionate women healthcare specialist in Darbhanga and responsible medical professional.
Dr. Ghazia Nusrat Ara currently serves as a Gynecology Consultant at Cribs Hospital Madhubani and is also associated with the hospital’s Kishanganj branch.
