Born and raised in Patna, she was exposed to diverse cultures across Bihar during her childhood, owing to her father’s transferable job. This early exposure shaped her into a compassionate and adaptable individual. She pursued her education with sincerity, earning a B.Sc. (Hons) in Zoology from Patna University, while nurturing a deep passion for music. She achieved a Prabhakar in Vocal from Prayag Sangeet Samiti and a Visharad in Light and Classical Music from Chandigarh University, reflecting her artistic depth. At the age of 21, Anupa married Anuj Nidhi, who is currently the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of SAIL–RITES Kulti. They spent 25 years in Bokaro before relocating to Durgapur three years ago. Throughout her journey, Anupa embraced homemaking not as a duty but as a noble calling built on love, faith, and community. She learned the essence of patience, service, and family harmony while caring for her mother-in-law and nurturing her family. Her commitment extended beyond her home. As Sah-Mantri of Sanskar Bharti (Bokaro District), she organized and participated in cultural programs, including Rangoli, Kathak, and vocal music workshops. Through her association with Chinmaya Mission, she taught Bal Vihar classes, Geeta Chanting, and Vedanta awareness sessions, empowering children and women alike with moral and spiritual values. Her children’s achievements stand as a testament to her nurturing influence. Her daughter, Sanyami Nidhi, is a National Badminton Player, the First Woman Mining Engineer from IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, and a Rescue-Trained Officer at Coal India Limited. Her son, Sreejan Nidhi, a graduate in Data Science from BIT Mesra, is a passionate cricketer who has represented both his district and state.
