NGOs and enlightened citizens like me came forward and started preparing foods and delivered to the doorsteps of needy persons in a totally hygienic manner. I have supplied food for 700 person per day for 15 days. However, there was an apprehension from the concerned authorities that it may sometime cause infection such supply chains were banned. Thereafter, I initiated making the kits of grains, pulses and cereals, vegetables, oil, sugar etc. at my home and distributed to 300 persons. I would like to state that whatever I have been doing in terms of food packets and distribution of essential commodity kits is the supplementary work being done by me in addition to the welfare measures and financial assistance extended by Government of Gujarat and other social and voluntary organisations.
