Shirin Zakiuddin Gorakhpurwala, born in a traditional Dawoodi Bohra family in Banswara, Rajasthan, is a distinguished culinary artist known for her exceptional homemade delicacies and innovative food ventures. Married at the age of 18 and a mother of two, she navigated early responsibilities while nurturing a deep love for cooking. Her culinary breakthrough began after shifting to Udaipur, where she recognized her true calling. Starting with home-cooked meals for kitty parties and small celebrations, Shirin refined her skills under Chef Vimal Dhar and Chef Sangeeta Dhar. Her dedication earned national recognition when she qualified for MasterChef India Auditions in 2016 (Semi-Finals, New Delhi) and again in 2019.

She marked her first major achievement as Winner of Star Chef Competition Udaipur (Season 1, 2016), awarded by Celebrity Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi. Her expertise opened doors to culinary workshops, opportunities to cook for the spiritual leader His Holiness Dr. Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin Saheb, collaborations with Wonderchef (Chef Sanjeev Kapoor), and serving dishes to Chef Varun Inamdar. In 2019, she launched her dream project: Tastebuds Restaurant in Banswara, followed by frozen food production, ready-to-eat meals, and a Cloud Kitchen in Udaipur (2024) with her daughter Arwa. Now settled in Nashik, Maharashtra, she is working toward opening a fine-dine restaurant and building a PAN-India food franchise network.
