Samvaad's Work Samvaad has been working tirelessly trying to create a positive impact on the society by initiating a conversation on social issues and initiating the change to eradicate the social evils. Till date, we've successfully impacted 4000+ lives. Work done : • 75+ awareness expert sessions on various social issues. • Workshops : -Menstruation and menstrual hygiene (Workshops for Children, Women from marginalised areas and training workshops for volunteers) - Eradication of child sexual abuse (workshops for children and training workshops for volunteers) - Various workshops including social media training, etc for our volunteers • Real Life Stories - A talk show with 25+ episodes with 25 changemakers telling how they created an impact in the society. Recently, Padma Shree 2021 awardee Sh. Shyam Sunder Paliwal ji and Water hero of Meerut Sawan Kanojia graced our platform with their sessions • Fund Raisers : Collaborated with Yearn To Learn India foundation for providing meals to 300+ persons everyday waiting outside the hospitals. • Empathy Circle : Providing a comfortable space to our volunteers for sharing anything they want.. it was started during pandemic to help our volunteers maintain their mental health. • Campaigns - with 200+ entries - Raise your voice - on child labour and menstruation - Environment Awareness campaign - Pride week campaign • Events - - Republic Day event at Chandigarh Spinal Rehabilitation Centre. - Marathon-cum-cyclothon event with the cause of gender equality - Unkahe Alfaaz 1.0 : An open mic on social issues.
