Although academics were always a priority, her real passion was fashion and modeling. Nonetheless, following this dream was not simple. At first, she could not find the right balance between studies and her increasing desire to participate in pageantry, and many around her believed she could not handle these two things at the same time. Patience, determination, and the support of her family and friends, who never stopped encouraging Kavya to reach her goals, helped her to find the proper balance between her ambitions and duties.
In the later stages of life, Kavya participated in and won an event at college in fashion that marked her turning point.
