Introduction

Archana Prasad is a vibrant and passionate 19-year-old hailing from the picturesque city of Malappuram, Kerala, fondly known as the "City of Hills." Though she spent 18 years in the Sultanate of Oman, Archana’s heart remains deeply rooted in the rich culture, traditions, and values of her home state, Kerala. Now a student of Bachelor's in Fashion Designing at the elite NIFT Kannur, Archana is doing all she can in her studies while cultivating her various talents and inclinations.

Cultural Heritage and Passion for Arts

Since early childhood, Archana's appreciation for the arts has been nurtured in her. She is professionally trained as a Bharatnatyam dancer and has acquired her skills in Carnatic music, which speaks of her solid grounding in the traditional arts of India.

She also was trained in Kuchipudi, Mohiniyattam, and Folk Dances and has performed at many functions of the Indian Social Club in Oman. Her varied arts in performing have not only positioned her as a good performer but have also deepened her sense of discipline and dedication.

Theater and Acting Journey

Besides her training in music and classical dance, Archana has been able to express her acting skills on the stage. She performed major roles in two prominent theatre productions in Oman, where she embarked on the world of drama and acting. Through this, her creativity and confidence have been improved, further influencing her personality.

Philanthropic Endeavors

Apart from her skill as an artist, Archana is also passionate about bringing positive change to society. She plays an active role in the Saaisha Foundation, a humanitarian organization that supplies cancer patients with hand-knitted cotton knockers and beanies made through crochet. Being part of the foundation reflects on her kind personality and dedication towards contributing to the community.
