Resilience, leadership, and adaptability are qualities that Major Geeta Adhikari (Retd) exemplifies. She was disciplined and adaptable from an early age, having grown up in a variety of Army stations. She attended St. Mary's Convent in Nainital and Army Public School in Bangalore, where she excelled academically and athletically, playing cricket, basketball, and volleyball for her school. She received her commerce degree from St. Joseph's College of Commerce in Bangalore, where she excelled as an all-around player, played softball for Karnataka, participated actively in school functions, and was named the 2009 "Best Outgoing Student."
She joined the Officers' Training Academy in 2010 after passing the Services Selection Board (SSB) thanks to her perseverance. She received a commission in the Indian Army following a demanding year of training. She served in Assam, J&K, Arunachal Pradesh, Punjab, and Pune over the course of the following 11 years, frequently volunteering for the most difficult assignments. She was essential to rescue and relief efforts during the 2014 floods in Srinagar. She received respect, honors, and recognition for her devoted service, including her alma mater's "Significant Achievement Award."
She started writing after retirement and wrote Faith, Hope, and Love (2022), a collection of her life's lessons and experiences that was awarded the 2023 "Popular Choice Award." She entered the business world concurrently and became an Associate Director, specializing in Supply Chain Management. She continues to inspire innumerable people with her life and work as a philanthropist, mindset coach, and motivational speaker today.

She has three years of experience overseeing extensive supply chain operations in her current position, leading empowerment programs, and mentoring teams. She has arranged three photography exhibitions and donated the proceeds to non-governmental organizations, demonstrating her passion as a photographer.
