India Contestant 2020 added a new official participant Elizabeth from Kottayam
When my husband left me in 2010 at the age of 26, I came to Kerala from Bangalore and turned to further studies related to counseling and started social work. I also gave school fees for poor children, distributes learning materials, raises money for 5 homeless families to build a house, and provides medical assistance to sick individuals. In addition, awareness classes on mental health are being conducted in schools, colleges, churches, temples, panchayats and Kudumbasree all over Kerala. Counseling and phychotherapy have been provided to over 14000 individuals for mental health assistance. Thus, since 2013, the Life Care Trust has been established and the counseling center has been operational. The life care team now consists of twelve doctors working for mental health. Elizabeth John, who came from Bangalore for just Rs 35/- studied further courses, did so many jobs, hard worked to earn money and is currently pursuing PhD pre thesis submission at Alagappa University. Also Life Care Counselling centre got tied up with MG University Kottayam and VIMS Institute Coimbatore. Selected as a Member of the IUCBR Researching Committee.
