Born and raised in Guwahati, Assam, he has emerged as one of the most respected authors and legal scholars in India. His pursuit of knowledge began early, leading him to earn multiple distinguished degrees including LL.B., LL.M., M.A., M.C.J., M.Phil., Ph.D., D.Phil., and he is currently pursuing an LL.D. As an author, Dr. Boruah has made extraordinary contributions to Indian literature and philosophy. His multilingual works in English, Assamese, Bodo, and Nepali reflect deep human insight and cultural richness. His groundbreaking book Sumal Gayaryni Gelemu Santhwo, published by the Bodo Sahitya Sabha, became the first-ever Bodo-language book on sports philosophy, earning recognition from the India Book of Records.
Alongside literature, he continues to serve as an advocate at the Gauhati High Court, where his expertise in human rights, media law, and social justice bridges law with compassion. His research on transgender rights, oriental studies, and political philosophy has enriched academic and legal discourse.
