Badhya Lama, born on September 19, 1973. February 2, 2001 she joined Education Department Government of Sikkim as GT Arts. On 2013, she appointed as Post graduate teacher. She actively fostered leadership and confidence in students.
In 2009, she founded the Red Ribbon Club to raise awareness about health issues. She also wrote and produced catchy school songs and fun music videos. Her leadership shone through in various social impact projects aimed at helping underprivileged children. After overcoming clinical depression, she became a passionate advocate for mental health. In recognition of her significant contributions to education and society, she was honored as Super Woman 2025. Her extensive work in community welfare, particularly through education and outreach initiatives, has made a real difference.
I joined the Education Department of the Government of Sikkim on February 2, 2001, as a GT Arts teacher. In 2013, I was promoted to Post Graduate Teacher. As for my educational background, I hold a BA (Hons.) in Political Science from Indraprastha College, Delhi University, and I completed my Post Graduation in English and B.Ed. through IGNOU. With over two decades of experience, my professional journey has been rich with teaching, mentoring, and taking on various administrative roles in the education sector.
