Ambika Arvindd is the Founder and CEO of an integrated content development startup called A Writing Venture. She has over 13 years of experience in content editing, writing and development. Ambika began her career as an assistant to an aviation lawyer for copy-editing aviation newsletters till the end of 2004. In 2005, she joined The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI), an environment and sustainable development think-tank, as a junior copy editor and went on to be promoted as a Senior Editor. It was in TERI that she dabbled in everything from copy editing to event management. She left TERI and worked as a freelance editor and writer between 2009 and 2015 to be with her children. During this time, she also taught English to BSc (Nursing) students at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi. Ambika embarked on her entrepreneurial journey in 2016 with A Writing Venture (AWV). A Writing Venture (AWV) is an integrated content development startup. We provide content writing, graphic designing, digital PR, and audio and video content services to stakeholders ranging from startups and small ventures to NGOs and corporate organizations. In March 2020, Ambika was recognized as one of the Top 30 women changemakers on the occasion of Women’s Day by Safe Job and the NITI Ayog. She has also been awarded Young Woman Entrepreneur of the Year Award by the GISR Foundation in May 2021. She is also a Carnatic classical vocalist and has given many concerts in Delhi/NCR.
