1) First and foremost, I strongly believe that Physical disability is not actually physical, it is a state of mind. I have never believed myself with less ability than others, though most of the people surrounding do not believe so, and pretend me to believe it, as well. But I was reluctant to it and had hidden spirit to void this label. I was born with spinal disorder and left leg is shorter and weaker than right leg. I faced many problems in my life to achieve whatever I want in my life. 2) I am Physically disabled woman, completed BE Electrical Engineering and working in Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) as Junior Telecom Officer Group ‘B’ Officer. I have completed 20 years of service in BSNL. Starting from joining in BSNL I am working in the Electrical field unit doing project and maintenance work of Telephone Exchanges and energy saving project. 3) I am active member of Telecom Women’s Welfare Organisation and doing the welfare work by participating International Yoga Day, doing plantations on world Environmental day in BSNL Bldg Premises, Carry out cleaning of bldg premises under swachh Bharat Abhiyan every year in BSNL. 4) Along with my job I am doing social work for poor and physically disabled children by donating them notebooks and stationary required for their study. 5) For me, Learning is endless process. Keeping my physically challenged aside, I took challenge to take dive in various sports. Presently, I am Para Cricketer and playing cricket for Gujarat Divyang Women Cricket Team and became 2 times champions in national cricket Tournaments. I enthusiastically attached to sports events like rifle shooting, shot-put, disc throw. I am trained women rifle shooter and won various medals in district level and state level as well. I also actively participated in Para-athletic games like shot-put and discs throw at district level. 6) I am an engineer, a house wife, a daughter-in-law, a mother and above all patriot nationalist woman. I try my level best to balance all my responsibilities and duties.
