Social Service Experience:

 

  • January 2000 to December 2002 worked a as Volunteer cum part time staff with different NGO’s in Chittoor Dist., Andhra Pradesh.

 

  • Programmes: Education, Health, Environment, youth development, girl child education, trainings for women and agricultural farmers and also income generation programmes for rural women etc., 

 

  • During 2014 Way Foundation was registered with Govt. of Andhra Pradesh for promoting all round development of rural and urban areas of Andhra Pradesh. Presently WAY FOUNDATION working towards the development of Education, Agriculture, Health and Women Empowerment an Economic Development etc.,  

 

  • Vidya Samkalpam: Under these programme, we have supported for 2100 poor students from govt. Schools by providing educational supplements like school books, note books, school bags, and also other stationary. We have raised funds for these programme thorough local contributions and other NGO’s.

 

- Aksharayagnam: The aim of the programme is to ensure quality education among the children of urban slums and rural areas by running 10  evening Tuition Centres and there are about 320 children are studying in these centres. All these centres teach not only education but also promoting games, cultural programmes and yoga and meditation etc., the above programme was supported by Wisdom Foundation as well as other individual donors. 

 

  • Back to School Programme: This is the scholarship programme for dropout students, especially for single parent, parentless children and also poor students. The aim of the programme is ensure and encourage higher education among underprivileged students irrespective of caste, creed, gender and religion. Every year there about 40 students would be supported under these programme. So far totally 210 students benefitted from this programme.

 

  • Health Programmes: WAY FOUNDATION conducts regularly conducts health camps and awareness programmes  in rural and urban areas on HIV/AIDS, Polio, TB, Cancer and other seasonal diseases etc., SIRDS also helps to community by taking patients  to hospitals for screening diseases and also helping for blood donations and medical expenditure through various networks.    
  • Agriculture Promotion Pogramme:
  • Through agriculture programme, we promote former clubs, organic agriculture, facilitating latest agricultural technologies, marketing for better prices, helping for getting govt. Schemes, subsides and  loans etc.,
  • Women Empowerment and Economic Development: This programme is one of our key and important programmes. WAY FOUNDATION helped and facilitated 376 vulnerable women from widows, single women, daliths, Tribus, minorities and also poor women for starting their own micro enterprises for achieving sustainable development. Most of the women become entrepreneurs. Also conducted various vocational trainings and skill trainings to women and adolescent girls towards promoting self employment opportunities among women. Totally 425 women and adolescent girls benefitted out of this programme.

 

- Supporting small and new NGO: WAY FOUNDATION supports many small and new NGO’s towards basic legal registrations, renewals, Auditing, documentation and also preparing annual reports etc., the aim of this programme is to strengthen small and new NGO’s for proper functioning.

COVID -19 Work

Way Foundation Tirupati -based not-for-profit organisation works for the urban poor by introducing sustainable livelihoods through an area-based community model. This also includes establishing skill training centres for the youth. With covid-19 having adversely affected the migrant population,  15 others are helping us distribute in Surrounding 50 kms.
