S. Shantha Kumar, born to a family with agrarian roots, is the son of Mr. I.K. Subramaniam, a farmer and industrialist, and Late Mrs. S. Janaki. From then, his learning history includes schooling at C.M.S. Matriculation Higher Secondary School and C.S.I. Higher Secondary School, Coimbatore. He also did a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering at C.I.T. Sandwich Polytechnic, besides managing advanced studies in computer programming, export management, and a Master's degree in Commerce from Madurai Kamaraj University.

He was a sportsman during his school and college days, winning many awards in football, cricket, athletics, and NCC activities. From a sportsman to a well-known environmentalist and entrepreneur, his history is that of unending commitment to social causes.

He heads several ventures such as Shree Shakthi Industries, Shree Shakthi Loomz, Shree Shakthi Electronics, previously worked as a DVD contractor for TNSTC buses. His heart was always in nature, and it withheld him from starting the Shree Shakthi Environmental Center in 2022, which sprawls over 22 acres with more than 18,000 trees of 250+ varieties.

Mr. Kumar's constant work in agroforestry, park development, and environmental training has made him a popular figure among students, farmers, IT professionals, and government officials.

The success story of Shantha Kumar S is an interesting legato of determination, foresight, and social responsibility. His journey began in an agricultural family and reached the equity stage, where he was able to create industry and an eco-education model of inspiration for future generationalists.

At his Shree Shakthi Environmental Center, Mr. Kumar had distributed over 9 lakh saplings freely and gave training to over 3,000 individuals every year. His farm is not only agriculture but a living ecosystem, which holds a nursery, mother beds, herbal gardens, a Bamboosium, and plantings of rare tree species.

Nationally recognized, he received the ISAF Krishivaniki Kisan Award 2023 for his contribution to the great causes of the environment. He further expresses his dream of a greener tomorrow through other projects like his bird sanctuary at Codissia Industrial Park and various public park developments.

Most importantly, he counts his success not in cash profit but in terms of the thousands of acres made fertile, tens of thousands of trees planted, and innumerable hearts awakened to the preservation of our Mother Earth.

Having gained professional qualifications in mechanical engineering, computer applications, export management, and commerce, he got into the industry successfully. He started Shree Shakthi Industries in 1997 and then expanded with Shree Shakthi Loomz and Shree Shakthi Electronics.

His instincts hitherto focused on the environment turned to sustainable farming and environmental awareness. Shree Shakthi Environmental Center, launched in 2022, is a dream project that combines eco-tourism with the practice of hands-on training in the environment.

Besides, he is an entrepreneur who has contributed significantly to CODISSIA (Coimbatore District Small Industries Association), supporting the association through various trade fairs, infrastructure development projects, flood relief activities, and skills development programs. His dedication reaches yet another height when he facilitated free vaccinations for 18,000 people during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Today, Sir keeps inspiring thousands on the green path and towards responsible citizenship.
