Durgapur, West Bengal, being the place of birth for Ananya Acharya, 35 years of age, is home to one of the most legendary DPSs, where she lends all the insight and experience derived from her earlier profession of a journalist. Ananya's life has been a process of storytelling through words, through the art of dance, or noble acts. Ananya is a trained classical dancer who got a taste of contemporary dance by training online with celebrity choreographer Terence Lewis.
Her heart beats for animals, and her spirit craves books, creating a fine blend of intellect and empathy. Outside of her interests, she is a known face of cleanliness and conservation. With her participation in Forever Miss India 2025 representing Durgapur, Ananya continues her mission of inspiring change through art, awareness, and action.
