Guwahati winner Nikita Khataniar, Miss India 2025, has been a person of immense strength and determination. At a very early age, she was diagnosed with extreme abdominal pains and health conditions that interfered with the normalcy of her life. She had the first surgery at the age of ten because of appendicitis. At 12, she had to go through a serious 8-hour surgery in Delhi, where part of her large intestine was taken out and reattached via her stomach. Nikita came through several surgeries and got her daily dose of heavy medication; nevertheless got the courage and concentration to move on with her studies and took the Class 10 board exams. She did not have an easy road to the FSIA crown, but this was influenced by her inner strength in life. The combination of physical suffering, emotional crisis, and personal development over the years helped her convert her problems into drive. Wearing the crown of a winner at FSIA is not only a title of Nikita, but it can be interpreted as her overcoming troubles, her rising above restrictions, and her feeling that being considered strong means finding strength within yourself. It was her story that encouraged the rest of her world never to give up and to continue to walk as tough as the path appears.
