Supriya pursued her academic journey in the field of Science, culminating in a Master’s degree in Human Physiology.

The childhood of Supriya was full of struggle, as, had been brought up in a rural village area with limited facilities such as electricity and clean water. The initial years were full of struggle and survival as the education system in the area was poor, and financial limitation was another problem. Furthermore, she was body shamed and continuously criticized, which impacted her early personality development and confidence. However, keeping beside all the struggles, she was the first girl in her school to finish secondary and higher secondary education. Even the failure in her higher secondary exams caused by her intense preoccupation with artistic and social activities did not, however, hold her back. Birbhum winner Supriya Laha, Miss India 2025, did not stop there; instead, she then proceeded to start a dance school that was to educate poor village girls, and graduated and post-graduated along with her artistic and social activities. Later, she started a non-governmental organization with some like-minded friends to keep inspiring the community. Later, Supriya was employed at Himalaya Wellness Company in 2020 and served with commitment for at least five years. In 2024, she encountered serious health problems, but she never gave up as she had to be strong for her family. Despite facing numerous challenges in life, she remained committed to writing, which eventually led to the publication of her poetry book and established her as an inspirational voice in literature.
