Meera Shrivastav – The Courageous Educator and Social Reformer of Gwalior

Born on 23rd December 1956 in Hyderabad and educated in Kanpur and Gwalior, Mrs. Meera Shrivastav is an epitome of strength, service, and selflessness. A distinguished educationist, she holds an M.A. in Economics and Sociology from Jiwaji University and a B.Ed. from Shiksha Mahavidyalaya, Gwalior. Her leadership qualities shone early as President of the Student Union (1977–78) and Executive Member of the university council.Beginning her journey as a teacher in 1980, she soon rose to become Principal, Director, and Administrator of KG Children Higher Secondary School, dedicating over 43 years to shaping young minds. Currently, she serves as the Administrator of the Postgraduate College of Nursing, Gwalior. Her resilience truly defines her legacy a three-time cancer survivor, she turned her pain into purpose by launching cancer awareness and women empowerment initiatives in collaboration with the Cancer Hospital and Research Institute, Gwalior. Despite multiple surgeries and chronic pain, Mrs. Shrivastav continues to serve society with courage, compassion, and conviction a living embodiment of the Super Woman 2025 spirit.
