A Passionate Medical Professional and Historian

Dr. Raja Bhaumik is a world-renowned medical doctor from Hyderabad selected as the Super Hero 2025 Title Holder from the Author category. His career and practice are in the fields of Medicine, Diabetology, Nephrology, and Critical Care. Equally passionately, he pursues history. His book Journey to India's Freedom from 1858-1948: An Untold Story is a valuable offering to historical literature. Academic Excellence and Medical Career

Dr. Raja Bhaumik completed his schooling partly from St. Xavier's School, Durgapur (upto Class 8) and then from Hyderabad Public School, Begumpet,  Hyderabad ( from Class 9 till 12). Subsequently he completed his MBBS from Gandhi Medical College and Hospital, Secunderabad.  He completed his Specialization from Medicine and Super-specialization in Nephrology from the National Board of Medical Education, New Delhi.

It also comprises further advancement with fellowship degrees in Diabetology and Non-Interventional Cardiology. Currently, he specializes in Medicine, Diabetology, Nephrology, and Critical Care, running clinics in Ameerpet, Madhapur, and Hafeezpet. His practice goes very well along with a passionate love for history, making him a unique blend of a healer and a historian.

Literary Pursuits and Future Projects

Dr. Bhaumik is a dedicated doctor but at the same time, he is a wonderful author. His first book titled Journey to Freedom in India from 1858 to 1948, An Untold Story is a two-volume, seven-chapter book counting an approximate total of around 920 pages. It describes in detail the different major events under each British Viceroy, giving particular emphasis to the contributions of revolutionaries. He knows that many freedom fighters are unsung so his aim through his literary work is to bring forth their sacrifices.

He is currently working upon yet another volume dedicated only to revolutionaries from British India and from abroad who collectively fought for independence. His second book is being planned as a three-volume piece which will be devoted to World War I and World War II, and the events that led to the rise of Hitler, global conflicts, and their consequences for India.
