Simran Saini – Chartered Accountant

Early Life and Education

Simran Saini was born and raised in Chandigarh, where from an early age, she developed a keen interest in commerce and finance. After completing her 12th standard in commerce, she decided to pursue the coveted CA or Chartered Accountant qualification, which requires dedication, perseverance, and analytical skills.

Simran cleared the Common Proficiency Test (CPT) at her first attempt, which is indicative of her aptitude for the subject. In May 2014, she successfully cleared IPCC Group 1 and started her articleship to gain practical exposure while preparing for Group 2, which she cleared in November 2016.

Her academic pursuits progressed along with practical training such that she was armed with insights into industry practices. She cleared CA Final Group 1 in November 2019 and completed Group 2 successfully in December 2021, thus receiving her professional recognition as a Chartered Accountant.

Enhanced academic qualifications were also on Simran's bucket list, which she bagged, being conferred with an MCom and BCom, thus complementing her knowledge in finance, taxation, and auditing.

Professional Journey and Achievements

Simran has had several associations with some of the best companies and has learnt a lot in the fields of accounting, taxation and auditing. She contributed a great deal to GT Global, where she won several awards for excellent work. She moved on to PwC, probably the biggest of the Big Four companies, and continued following her journey in the corporate world. She was acknowledged at PwC when her professionalism, teamwork, and quality deliverables made her the talk of the game.
