Abilash Rathnakaran, A highly competent and organised individual dedicated to the development of sports all over India, Is the Director of Sports for VELS Group of Institutions. He is taking care of 20 educational institutions in Chennai. Abilash has been in sports industry ever since he was 16 years old and has represented major clubs and institutions as a young charismatic player as well as a people’s favourite Mentor. With his outstanding skills he has developed young and aspiring minds into the world of sports. Several Underprivileged kids have benefitted with the help of his support. He has provided many outstanding Sportsmen for the state of Tamil Nadu. His Strength is Sports Management. He is taking care of 100s of Underprivileged kids from all over India and provide them education, Food, Accommodation & training free of cost. And He teaches them a sport and make them a Sportsman and see to that they get appointed in government sectors by Sports quota or some professional sports clubs like Indian bank, icf, railways, reserve bank, Chennai city Fc, customs, Chennaiyin Fc etc. A lot of families have been transformed through this. He has the best teams in Tamilnadu in several Sports. And one of the best Football team in INDIA. He has travelled around the world for the development and promotion of sports. He is a trustee of a foundation called SAIL ( Save An Individual's Life) which is meant for helping Underprivileged kids for their OPEN HEART SURGERIES and other health issues... Till now this foundation has saved 22 kids by helping them in open heart surgeries,
